In a year filled with remarkable achievements, Hannah Clark and Emily Hart have received well-deserved recognition for their outstanding accomplishments in 2023.

Hannah Clark, a shining star of the Under 21 National Training Squad (NTS), secured her place as one of Southeast Queensland’s most inspirational individuals under 25, as acknowledged by the Courier Mail.

Clark, who was a shining light at the 2023 Asian Youth Championships in Bangkok, Thailand, when she claimed the bronze medal in the girl’s singles event.

Not since 2015 had an Australian female bowler claimed a medal at the Asian Youth Championships. Making the achievement even more special, the last medal won in a female singles event at an Asian Youth Championship date back to 1997 when Maxine Nable secured a silver medal at the 9th Asian Youth Championships.

Hannah’s stellar performance thus became more than just a personal achievement—it symbolised a resurgence in Australia’s representation at the highest levels of the sport.
