The 2020 Australian Junior Championship will be held at ZONE BOWLING Mt Gravatt, seeing the pinnacle junior tenpin bowling event in Australia return to Queensland for the first time since 2008.
The announcement comes after a successful 2019 Championship at Oz Tenpin Chirnside Park, where over 180 competitors from across Australia competed in the 10-day event.
From April 15th until 25th April 2020, bowlers, officials and spectators from across Australia will get to experience the 26 lane centre which is located 10 kilometres south of Brisbane whilst having the opportunity to visit the vast attractions that Brisbane and the Gold Coast have to offer.
Following the announcement TBA CEO Cara Honeychurch thanked the team at Oz Tenpin Chirnside Park for delivering another successful championship and was excited to see the event return to the sunshine state.
“Thanks must go to the team at Oz Tenpin Chirnside Park for all their efforts in making the 2019 Championship such a success. It’s been great for those attending the Championship to visit two distinctly different parts of Melbourne these past two years.”
A host of world class tourist attractions on offer across South East Queensland
“TBA is excited to bring the event back to Queensland where the sport is not only well supported but is a popular destination with families with a host of world class tourist attractions on offer across South East Queensland,” Honeychurch said.
“We look forward to working with Tracey Crisp and the team at ZONE BOWLING Mt Gravatt who will no doubt deliver another outstanding event.”
