Tenpin Bowling Australia (TBA) recently presented a Bowl at Home live webinar as part of Disabilities Sport and Recreation ‘Online Disabilities Sport Series’.

TBA’s Emily Rennes presented the live inclusion webinar to a number of eager participants on Wednesday September 16th. The session followed TBA’s bowl at home series of videos, allowing inclusive activities to be undertaken in the comfort of your own home with household items and limited space needed.

Over the 30 minute session, Emily took participants through a range of new skills and simple activities, with onlookers excited at the prospect of exercising and learning a new skill from the comfort of their own home.

Disabilities Sport and Recreation’s Megan Stevens, the project coordinator said:

“TBA delivered an engaging and adaptive session to a wide range of participants. It was exciting to see people smiling, interacting and bravely trying new things while on screen. DSR would like to thank Nick and Emily for their hard work and commitment to ensure that people with disability are still able to connect and be active during this challenging time.”

The series of events involves 6 sports over 6 weeks, all with the aim of showcasing the inclusiveness of various sports and allowing participants of all ages and abilities to participate in physical activity while at home.
