
Tenpin Bowling Australia (TBA) is excited to welcome participants to the highly anticipated 2023 TBA50 National Championships, taking place for the first time at the AGL National High-Performance Centre on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, between the 22-28 October 2023.
This week-long carnival promises an exciting event lineup catering to bowlers of all skill levels.
TBA recognises the significance of having a national championship dedicated to senior-aged bowlers, celebrating the enduring passion for this lifelong sport.
What to Expect:
TBA50 Teams Challenge

One of the most anticipated highlights of the championship is the electrifying TBA50 Teams Challenge.
Returning to a more traditional format, this gripping competition brings together state, territory, regional and international representatives to engage in a fierce battle of singles, doubles, and team competitions.
The lanes will sizzle as nine of the finest teams from each corner of Australia and New Zealand vie for the title of the ultimate TBA50 team of 2023.
- Sunday 22 October – 11:00 am – 1:00 pm & 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm – TBA50 Team Challenge Official Practice Sessions
- Monday 23 October – Opening Ceremony & Singles Events for Men & Women
- Tuesday 24 October – Doubles Events for Men & Women
- Wednesday 25 October – Teams of Four Event for Men & Women, Celebration Dinner
Individual Cup Events

A chance for individual glory and to showcase skills of all levels.
From the TBA50 Graded Cup, crafted to ignite and motivate budding talents, to the TBA50 Classic Cup, designed for those eager to transcend their limits, and culminating in the prestigious TBA50 National Masters – a nationally ranked showdown that sets the stage ablaze with remarkable showcases of skill.
