Tenpin Bowling Australia (TBA) were well represented at the Disability Sport & Recreation (DSR) Festival in Melbourne by Shaun Johnson (State Development Officer), Jarrod McNamee (Sport Development Officer) and Dylan Hatcher (Participation & Market Development Intern).

It was a stunning day alongside the Yarra River, where organisations were able to increase awareness of their all-inclusive programs.

With the aim of sharing how easy getting into Tenpin Bowling can be, staff spoke to festival participants and followers by sharing Bowl Patrol, Bowl Abilities and TBAQ’s (Queensland) Roll ‘n Strike portable lanes. TBA took bowling to the DSR festival in the form of portable lanes, pins & balls.

We’d like to thank Disability Sport & Recreation Victoria for putting on an amazing event and we certainly look forward to coming along next year!

Congratulations to Asherly who expressed interest in her kids joining the Bowl Patrol program, who has won a FREE Bowl Patroller Pack! A big congratulations also to Ollie, who expressed interest in signing up for a Bowl Abilities program, who will now receive a FREE Tenpin Bowling coaching session.

Bowl Abilities and Bowl Patrol programs for Term 1 in 2022 are now taking registrations in Victoria. If you require any further information please contact Shaun Johnson at [email protected].
