Tenpin Bowling Australia is now seeking enrolments from eligible Level 1 coaches who are ready to attend an upcoming BRONZE coaching course – to be held remotely ONLINE!
For current registered Level 1 Coaches, we are pleased to announce that a Bronze Level Coaching Course, which is online (remote delivery), has been scheduled for November 2021.
The Bronze Level coaching course is targeted at any current Level 1 Coach who would like to take their knowledge of the sport and coaching up to the next level. It focuses on training our coaches to work with beginner to intermediate athletes, up to about a 175 average.
“It is important to know that we run a TBA Bronze Level Coaching Course in Australia” explained National Education and High-Performance Manager Mike Griffith. “The USBC component is just one element of being certified as a coach by TBA. It is also a stepping-stone and pre-requisite if working your way up to our TBA Silver Level course”.
Following the successful running of both Bronze and Silver online courses throughout lockdown, the online (remote) version of the course returns using Zoom software aiming to simplify the process. The online method allows participants to attend the classroom (theory) component from the comfort of their own homes. This flexibility allows participants to save time and money without the need to travel to attend the course.
“There are several important requirements in addition to the online course, including practical on-lane coaching and evaluation, which is done after attending the theory course online,” said Mike Griffith. “Participants must complete all requirements before they are accredited as a Bronze Coach, ensuring they are trained sufficiently and maintain a level of quality”.
