At TBA, we take immense pride in celebrating the outstanding accomplishments of our members. Whether you’re a budding junior starting at a score of 50, or an adult setting your sights beyond a score of 125, we recognize every success, regardless of your average*. Our awards span a vast range, designed to honour your every achievement on the lanes. Aim for the stars each year and curate a collection of our distinguished awards.
For those marking their first accolade, we commemorate your feat with a unique TBA Header Badge, complemented by an award bar*, a one-time gesture of our appreciation. And for our seasoned bowling maestros who reach notable milestones, we have crafted plaques and jewellery to help celebrate grand achievements like the perfect game of 300.
While we celebrate diverse bowling feats, it’s crucial to note that TBA awards are exclusively for accomplishments in structured or accredited competitions. Scores from “phantom type” leagues, special competitions as outlined in Rule 216, or pre-bowled/deferred/postponed matches aren’t eligible.

BAR/PIN AWARDS
Award recipients must be TBA-registered bowlers with the achievement occurring in a TBA-registered centre. Below is a list of the Bar/Pin Awards that are available

All pin/bar award applications are administered by our partners at the United Tenpin Bowling Association (UTBA)
The Claiming Process: It’s Simple and Swift!
If you bowl at one of the over 70 centres nationwide equipped with our specialised software, you can expect prompt award notifications.
Typically, within 24 hours, provided we have your email address on file, you’ll receive an email detailing your achievement. This email will also guide you on how to order your award online.
Once ordered, you can anticipate its arrival at your bowling centre within a few weeks for collection.
You can also apply for bar/pin awards utilising the manual forms provided by UTBA which administers the organisation and distribution of pin/bar awards to members.
Replacement award bars are available for $1.00 each. Extra and replacement header bars are available for $3.00 each.

A maximum of one award per week per bowler can be applied for in each of the game, series or special award category. (e.g a bowler has games of 290, 215 and 195 for a total of 700. The bowler could apply for a 275 pin and a 700 series only. They could not apply for a 250, 225 or 200 pin award in the same application.)
Yearly awards are calculated as per the calendar year.
High Games and High Series Awards
TBA oversees the distribution of plaques for high games and series achievements.
To claim these accolades, the application should be initiated either by the league secretary or a representative from your affiliated centre, complete with the requisite application form and a copy of the game’s score sheet.
While every effort is made to ensure accurate engraving, TBA is not liable for any inaccuracies, such as misspelled names or other incorrect details, on the awarded items.
Ensure you’re a registered TBA player in a registered TBA centre to qualify for these awards.

Applications for “Plaque Awards” must also be accompanied by the TBA verification sheet and score sheet printout.
League Champion Chevrons
This popular chevron is available for the first-placed league champion team or individual, provided all members of the league are TBA registered members in the current year.
Eligibility
The league must be conducted in a TBA registered centre and all members of the league must be registered members of TBA in the current year.
