
Tenpin Bowling Australia continues to embark on an exciting journey to evolve and grow the sport of Tenpin Bowling.
Following on from recent announcements at an executive level, TBA are pleased to announce that Sue Wharekawa has been appointed Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer.
Sue brings exceptional experience and high competencies in financial management and oversight in a sporting environment. Prior to joining TBA, Sue has held the position of Chief Financial Officer Hockey Australia. Her portfolio included Finance, Governance, Integrity, HR and Risk Management.
Sue also was a part of the Sport Australia Future Female Leaders of Sport Program and a recipient of a Women Leaders in Sport Grant. She has also been an invited speaker providing insight into the challenges of women in business, the importance of brand as an athlete in sport and decision making frameworks for positive workplace outcomes.
Additionally, Sue is also the Chief Executive of She Shreds Community and is the founder of Cadence Advisory Group.
Sue holds two degrees in Commerce and Biomedical Science. Sue has also completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors Company Directors Course and the Australian Institute of Directors Company Secretary Course
