The 2020 National Ranked Events calendar will feature 24 events alongside the nationally approved state championship and roll-off dates that were released today.

Today’s announcement of the 2020 rankings program will see tournaments held in 5 states and territories. The year will commence with Victoria and Wyncity Bowl & Entertainment hosting the TBA National Youth Cup on the 11 & 12 January.

When deciding events for the program some of the following factors are taken into consideration when determining which tournaments TBA include in the rankings program:

  • Tournament performances indicators such as the number of entries, reputation of each event, history, and prestige
  • Geographic spread to ensure as many states as possible have the opportunity to host a ranked event
  • Timing of events to ensure reasonable spread throughout the year
  • The number of current and established ranked events
