The pinnacle junior tenpin bowling event in Australia returns to Queensland for the first time since 2008.

Last year it was Jarrod Langford holding aloft the Melbourne Tenpin Cup trophy at Oz Tenpin Chirnside Park. Who will it be in 2019?

The team of six women and six men will compete in the 10-day tournament at the Kuwait Bowling Centre in Salmiya, against Asia’s leading bowling nations.

The weekend saw two ranked events held with the 2019 Venuto and Sydney Youth Cups both decided on Sunday afternoon.

The countdown has begun – Australia’s pinnacle event for senior tenpin bowlers will be held in Toowoomba in three months’ time, commencing on 23rd August.

Organisers of the 2019 Queensland Junior Cup are overwhelmed with the enthusiastic response to news of the dates and venue for this nationally-ranked tournament.

This weekend will see national ranked events return to the bowling calendar, with the Sydney Youth and Venuto Cups in action.

TBA’s High Performance Committee has announced the Australian team who will contest the nine-day tournament from the 2nd till 10th of September.
