Australian Sam Cooley has finished runners-up in a nail-biting finish at the 2023 PBA Shark Championship.
Starting the event as the fifth seed, Cooley climbed the ladder to bowl for the title against number one seed Matt Ogle. The title match went to the wire with Ogle defeating Cooley 204-191.
Congratulations to Sam on the great run in the stepladder!
The World Series of Bowling XIV continues tomorrow with the first two rounds of match play for the PBA World Championship. Australia’s Jason Belmonte has qualified in 12th position surviving the cut and we wish Belmo all the best.
