SA Junior and Youth Cups Cancelled for 2021

Tenpin Bowling Australia and the Tenpin South Australian Board wish to advise that the SA Junior and Youth Cups have been cancelled due to uncertainty around the current COVID situation.
Rescheduled for the 28-29 August at Zone Bowling Noarlunga, Tenpin SA have advised TBA of the difficult decision to cancel the event for 2021.
“With a number of bowlers registered that are coming from Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland coupled with the current border restrictions, it is felt that in the interests of everyone that the event be cancelled for this year” said State Manager Lyn Alexander.
“It is not a decision that has been taken lightly as we were looking forward to welcoming everyone to SA for this event. Hopefully we can aim for an event in 2022”.
TBA supports the decision to cancel the event given the unique circumstances and ongoing uncertainty regarding border restrictions into South Australia.
