RETURN TO BOWLING SURVEY

By Tenpin Bowling Australia
May 7, 2020

As you are no doubt aware, Australia is doing a great job in flattening the COVID-19 curve and States and Territories either have or are preparing to gradually ease some restrictions.  The Federal and State Governments have all expressed a strong desire for community sport to resume as soon as possible and that of course means tenpin bowling!

TBA has been playing an important role in liaising with the Federal and State Governments to ensure that our sport can return as quickly as possible and therefore we are working closely with bowling centres across the country to prepare for re-opening.  The timing and rules will all vary depending on what State or territory you reside in.

However, we don’t want to assume that just because centres are open that you’ll be ready or can come back straight away.

Along with the Independent Bowling Centres Australia (IBCA) and Zone Bowling Entertainment, we are interested in hearing from league bowlers in the lead up to restrictions being eased. The purpose of this survey is to understand if and what concerns you may have in returning to league bowling in a COVID-Safe environment.

If there’s any members in your team or others in the bowling community that you know don’t have an email address or may not see this on the website/socials but might like to participate in our survey please let them know by forwarding it on to them. We are interested to hear from as many people as possible.

We appreciate you taking the time to complete this survey to help aid TBA and our centres in understanding the needs and concerns league bowlers may have in returning to our great sport.

The survey will close by the close of business on Friday the 15th May 2020.
