RENOVATIONS CONTINUE AS DEVONPORT TENPIN BOWL TURNS 40 THIS WEEKEND

Devonport Tenpin Bowl has been a beloved fixture in Devonport since 1983, first opening its doors on September 30th 1983. With its commitment to providing top-notch entertainment and a welcoming atmosphere, it has become a favourite destination for families, friends, athletes and bowling enthusiasts. As it celebrates its 40th anniversary this Saturday, Devonport Tenpin Bowl is proud to continue its tradition of excellence and looks forward to many more years of creating memorable experiences.

Current owners Mark and Kerryn who took over last year in July, are thrilled to announce a grand celebration marking its 40th anniversary. Over the month of October, as part of this milestone, the bowling alley is hosting an exciting tournament with a grand prize of $2,000 per division and a sensational concert on the lanes featuring four live bands.

To kick off the celebration, Devonport Tenpin Bowl are offering free movie screenings on Mondays at 10.30am and 3.30pm over school holidays, where customers can bowl while they watch or just sit and enjoy the movie! Movies include Super Mario Bros, Sing 2, Oddball and Sonic. Bookings are recommended for those who wish to bowl.

In addition, on the 6th of October Devonport Tenpin Bowl will be host a concert featuring four incredible, local bands, Live on the Lanes. The concert promises to be a night to remember, with a diverse line-up of musical genres to cater to all tastes. Kicking off with Whiskey Rose, followed by Paragraph II, The Ethyls and finishing off the night with Dylan Boys Band! It will be a night to remember. $10 cover charge for adults, with kids’ entry free! You can come along and bowl or just enjoy the live music.

Concluding our month-long celebrations, Devonport Tenpin Bowl is hosting an exciting bowling tournament over the weekend of the 20th – 22nd of October. The tournament is open to all Open and Restricted bowlers with a registered league average, and the grand prize for each of the two divisions is a whopping $2,000 in cash! Bowling enthusiasts from all over Australia are invited to participate in this exciting event, showcasing their skills and competing for the coveted title of champion. This will be a tournament worth watching as some of the best bowlers in Australia compete for the top prize. Spectators welcome!

As the new owners, we are absolutely thrilled to be celebrating the business’ 40th birthday and continue the exciting renovations at Devonport Tenpin Bowl as part of the ongoing $1 million dollar redevelopment project. The business owes its success to the incredible support of the league bowlers, the North-West Coast community, and its owners in the 40 years past. We can’t wait to share this milestone with everyone over the month of October. The movie screenings, tournament and concert are just some of the ways we’re expressing our gratitude and showing our commitment to providing an outstanding experience for our guests.
