Sporting Schools is a $430 million Sport Australia initiative designed to help schools increase children’s participation in sport and connect them with community sport opportunities.
Tenpin Bowling Australia is one of many National Sport Organisations to support the initiative. Have your school Principal register for a tenpin bowling program next term. Your child could do Bowl Patrol for free with Sporting Schools!
- Experience bowling in your school or local centre
- Hire, buy or make your own tenpin lanes, pins and ball
- Be taught to bowl by a qualified coach/Lane Ranger
- Easy, online learning to upskill teacher delivered programs
- Utilise inclusive resources such as Autism Spectrum Australia’s word board, visual schedule and social story
Has your child enjoyed tenpin bowling at schools? The next step is visit your local centre and join a learn to bowl program (check out www.bowlpatrol.com.au) or junior league (https://www.tenpin.org.au/bowl/sports-registration/ membership is just $27 a year).
NEW! Club Connect creates pathways for students to become players. Schools apply for funding to enable students to learn (min. 4 sessions) with coach, equipment and local club connections all included. Tenpin can support your schools’ Club Connect program with hire/purchase of portable lanes, Bowl Patrol registration, games in your local centre, promotion and more.
