The Hammer Queensland Seniors Classic will get underway tonight at Caboolture Tenpin Bowl from 28-30 May 2021.
After being rescheduled at the start of the year due to COVID restrictions, the event will kickoff on Friday night with the first squad (A) set to commence their first 10 games of qualifying from 6:15 pm local time .
Unfortunately, for 2021, the event will be without many friends from Victoria. Following State Government directives, the state of Victoria has entered circuit breaking restrictions and are in lockdown for the next seven days.
Still, the show must go on!
The Hammer Queensland Seniors Classic is the third-ranked event for the Senior and Grand Senior divisions in 2021. Holding their fourth-ranked event for the year and third for the month, Caboolture Bowl completes a busy month of playing host to ranked events.
All bowlers will bowl 18 games in their allocated squad over two separate appearances—ten games on one day, eight on the other. The bowlers in each division with the highest pinfall will be the 2021 champions.
Tony Hamilton and Sue Cassell will be in attendance defending their 2020 titles. Queenslander Tony Hamilton will be aiming for his third straight title in the event.
Good luck and high scoring to all bowlers involved this weekend!
