The 24th annual Queensland Ladies Classic will get underway at Caboolture Bowl this weekend in Queensland from Saturday morning.

The Queensland Ladies Classic (QLC) is the third event of the women’s ranked event season and after a stop in Victoria, competitors will return to Queensland for the action.

Number one ranked women’s bowler Bec Whiting will be looking to add to her collection after securing the first two titles on offer capturing the 2023 Suncity Women’s Open and Vic150. Whiting has won the Queensland Ladies Classic an astonishing six times in its short history.

One of the bowlers keen to keep that record at bay will be Rebekah Commane. The young Victorian will return to defend her title after winning in 2022.

All bowlers will complete 14 games for qualifying with the top 16 to advance to stage two for an additional four games. At the conclusion of stage two, the top 8 bowlers will move to the finals where bowlers will compete in Caboolture’s well-known “footy style” bracket.

We wish all bowlers the best of luck and high scoring on the weekend!
