Tenpin Bowling Australia and host venue Tenpin City wish to advise that the 2021 NSW Open has been cancelled due to the ongoing COVID restrictions in place throughout NSW.

Initially scheduled for the 4-5 September at Tenpin City, organisers have advised TBA of the difficult decision to cancel the event due to the ongoing restrictions in place throughout the state of NSW.

“Considering the current situation NSW is in, we don’t know if we will be open by the 4th and 5th of September, so regrettably we will have to cancel this year’s event,” said Tenpin City’s Annette Cannone.

TBA supports the decision to cancel the event given the unique circumstances that the state of NSW is facing.

Junior Sydney Cup

The centre is also scheduled to host the Junior Sydney Cup from the 2nd-4th October 2021.

Tournament organisers and TBA have decided to hold off on making a decision if the junior event will proceed until the end of August. Once a decision is made, an announcement will be made in early September regarding the status of the event.
