The announcement came as the 2019 Championship entered its final days at ZONE BOWLING Tuggeranong with the Open and Cole Cups winners decided on Thursday, and the final events being the Restricted, Classic and Open Masters.

“It’s great to be taking the Championship back to Queensland, where bowlers from across the country will not only enjoy bowling at a great centre they will also have the opportunity to check out the world class tourist attractions in South East Queensland.”

“While we are looking forward to 2020 I would like to thank all the team at ZONE BOWLING Tuggeranong for the outstanding work they have put into making this year’s tournament a huge success and we look forward to welcoming bowlers, carers and parents to ZONE BOWLING Mt Gravatt in 2020,” Honeychurch said.

Following the announcement, CEO of Tenpin Bowling Association of Queensland Gail Torrens was excited to see the championships return to the Sunshine State and has negotiated a rate for all competitors and carers heading to next year’s event.
