With government-issued sport vouchers now in every state and territory (except ACT) across Australia, more children are learning to bowl for free.
The vouchers cover the total cost of registration in a term program, such as Bowl Patrol.
Bowl Patrol is Tenpin Bowling Australia’s national junior program designed to introduce children to the sport!
With eight 1-hour sessions of structured curriculum, delivered by highly qualified and experienced Lane Rangers (coaches) – cost becomes less of a barrier.
For example, the following vouchers are on offer in 2023:
|QLD||FairPlay||$150||Parent, carer, or guardian holds a valid Services Australia Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card with the child’s name on it.|
|NSW||Active Kids||2 x $100||$100 for January – June, another $100 for July – December. For any ‘school enrolled’ child https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/active-kids|
|VIC||Get Active||Up to $200||Named on a valid Australian Government Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card. And named on a valid Australian Government Medicare Card https://www.getactive.vic.gov.au/vouchers/|
|SA||Sports Vouchers||$100||Register with the child’s eleven (11) digit Medicare number or an Australian visa number|
|TAS||Ticket to Play||2 x $100||Listed on valid Services Australia Health Care or Pensioner Concession Card|
|WA||KidSport||$150||Listed on a valid concession card or apply for a financial exception through assessment.|
