Bowler Bio

Ashlyn has been bowling from the time she could walk.

Practically raised at a bowling centre since her grandparents managed one, her first memories of being involved in the sport were when she used to run around the bowling centre supporting her cousin while he was at tournaments.

From a young age, the Warnbro local has been competing with the best. From the age of four, she has been attending the Australian Junior Championships before she won her first Australian title at 10-years-old.

Ashlyn has gone on to represent Australia on a handful of occasions including the Asian Schools Championships in 2018 and 2019. She was just 15-years-old when she finished 10th in the singles at her first-ever international event.

Closer to home she has picked up a third-place finish at the Australian Junior Masters.

With her life always surrounded by tenpin bowling, it isn’t hard to see Ashlyn’s love for the game. She adores the feeling of being out on the lane, which has made all the hard training sessions worth every second of it plus she has made many life-long friendships through bowling.

Away from the lanes, Ashlyn enjoys taking pilates and dance classes as well as reading a good book with a nice cup of tea. She is also a massive anime lover.
