Inaugural TBA National Inclusion Masters to be hosted in Orange

By Tenpin Bowling Australia
August 23, 2022

The TBA National Inclusion Masters is an inaugural national event and will be hosted by Orange Tenpin Bowl from 13-16 September 2022.

This event will be a pathway which is used for athlete identification and possible selection purposes for the new NTS Inclusion, as well as Team Australia for the IBF Para Bowling World Cup 2022 which will be hosted on the Sunshine Coast in November.

Through this event, TBA intends to ‘challenge perfection’ by connecting Australia with the brilliance of bowling. TBA aims to reach out to and identify our talented inclusion athletes from across Australia, providing an annual “Open National Masters” event specific to their classification.

There will be four classification master events conducted over four separate days:

  • Tuesday 13 September –              Deaf/Hearing Impaired Masters
  • Wednesday 14 September –       Blind/Vision Impaired Masters
  • Thursday 15 September –            Physical/Para Masters
  • Friday 16 September –                  Intellectual Disability Masters

Each day will commence at 9:00 am local time, and consists of three stages.

TBA National Inclusions Masters is an open grade national event for the identification of our advanced to elite inclusion athletes from each of the four classifications listed above.

All divisions will bowl scratch and no handicapping will apply.

We encourage any inclusion athlete who is aspiring to improve and reach the pinnacle of the sport to attend this event. This event will be a pathway for identification for NTS Inclusion athletes. We aim for it to become an ongoing national inclusion event in the future.
