Our 2019 National Lane Ranger of the Year, Moira Mathie from WA, is back to show you some activities you can do at home.
In this fourth video, Moira builds on the skills we’ve learnt from the previous ‘Bowl at Home’ videos to practice targeting. Use your ‘rock on fingers’, ‘Spiderman release’ and ‘balanced stance’ together to play a fun targeting game. If you’re thinking of joining a BowlAbilities program, this will give you an idea of what skills you might learn, all of which can be practiced at home, so you are ready when you hit the lanes!
All you need are some household objects to space evenly and a small ball. Challenge yourself by scoring and try to beat your previous best!
Have a go at “kneel and roll targeting” and post your efforts on Facebook: @BowlAbilitiesAUS or Instagram: @BowlAbilities or email: [email protected]
TBA has created this series of videos that aim to introduce the basic skills of the sport for all ages and all abilities from the comfort and safety of your own home. Whether you are new to the sport of tenpin bowling or you have had a taste of it before, this fun series will help you stay fit and keep moving.
Be sure to ‘Like’ and ‘Share’ the videos on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. If you want more information, email: [email protected] or contact the Sports Development Officer in your State.
