Entries are now open for the 2022 NT Tenpin Cup.
Hosted in beautiful Alice Springs, the first women’s division ranked event for 2022 will occur at the ‘Dustbowl’, Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, from the 28th to 30th January 2022.
A rebranded event for the women’s division, the NT Tenpin Cup takes over from the previously run Darwin Tenpin Cup. Not only is the event ranked for women bowlers, but it is also an event that welcomes men and mixed grade participation.
TBA has been working closely with the NT Tenpin Bowling Association in ensuring the Northern Territory has an event to welcome bowlers from around the country to compete and enjoy. Entries will be accepted and processed through the Tenpinresults portal for the first time, whilst other promotional opportunities are also being explored.
Recently appointed TBA National Manager of Bowling, Rules and Tournaments, Morty Douglass, is excited about the potential this event can deliver on and off the lanes.
“It’s an exceptional opportunity to have a ranked event take place in the centre of Australia in Alice Springs”, said Morty. “We are not only excited about the prospect of having the best female bowlers in the country at the event but also grateful for the chance to connect with the local community in the region”.
“We are looking forward to showcasing a new location and some new initiatives in partnership with TBA NT,” commented Douglass.
NT TBA President Janine Matheson echoed Morty in her enthusiasm for an event to remain in the NT.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to continue welcoming bowlers to the Northern Territory”, said Janine. “We can’t wait to welcome bowlers to the newly created NT Tenpin Cup and for visitors to experience all the beautiful things Alice Springs has to offer”.
Entries will be processed using the Tenpinresults.com.au online entry system.
