Tenpin Bowling Australia sports registration for 2023 has kicked off today as the annual online early bird period has opened with discounted rates and plenty of prizes on offer.

The early bird portal will open from 1 November to 31 December 2022 for bowlers participating in a traditional membership centre.

“The early bird window is a great opportunity to save approximately 10% on your 2023 registrations whilst also going in the running to win some fantastic prizes,” explained TBA Membership Manager Kortnee Morcus.

The ever-popular 10 weeks of free league will return as one of the several prizes on offer for those that register within the early bird window. One 10-week league pass will be drawn for each state and territory across the country. Other prizes include a $500 gift card for one lucky winner nationwide and eight TBA prize packs that include TBA Shoe Bag, Hand Towel, and Aluminium Water Bottle.

The personalised membership card will return in 2023 with an opt-in option added to the registration process.

“In 2022, we learned a few things about the membership card process,” said Morcus.

“As we utilise a third-party to create and distribute cards according to the data entered by members, we had a lot of lost cards due to invalid data entered.

“In 2023, we are tightening up the process. If a member wants a card, they will need to opt-in and ensure they provide the correct address details. We hope this will minimise delays and errors occurring.” added Morcus.

TBA Chief Executive Officer Rohan O’Neill explained the importance of TBA sports registration to sport.

“Like most sports in Australia, sports registration is a requirement for those that play a sport on a regular basis. The funds collected from sports registration are critical in allowing us to continue to offer the services we do, continue to strive for improvement in areas of the sport and finally protect and reward bowlers while participating in the sport”.

“The price of registration has increased $4 per annum, yet we remain proud of what is offered for the fee compared to alternative sports offerings”.

“We thank all the registered centres for their ongoing support, and we ask for bowlers within these centres to ensure they are registered to make sure the centre continues as a registered centre in the future”.

The revenue generated from sports registration contributes to the administration of the sport including insurance, lane measuring and administrative support services. One component of sports registration fees associated with participation in either league or tournament play is the various awards provided by TBA.

“Tenpin Bowling registration prices remain one of, if not the lowest priced in the sports sector, and we are proud of the benefits available to the members,” explained Kortnee Morcus.

The 2023 Early Bird Registration period is now open and will close on 31 December 2022.

Please note – Early bird specials and prizes are only open and available to members who bowl in traditional membership centres that accept online payments.  Members in lane levy centres are not eligible for the Early Bird registration prices or prizes.

Register in the early bird window to access the discounted prices, put your name in the ring for some great prizes and support your sport in 2023!
