BRONZE COACHING COURSE GOES ONLINE

Tenpin Bowling Australia is seeking registrations from Level 1 coaches or interested bowlers wishing to attend an upcoming Bronze coaching course to be held for the very first time – ONLINE!

Using Zoom software, aspiring coaches will be able to complete the theory (classroom) component of the USBC accredited Bronze coaching course. The new initiative replaces the previous two-day Face to Face course classroom requirement.

Participants will have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills to develop their own coaching philosophy, fine tuning a bowler’s physical game, understand lane conditions and provide advice on ball selection.

Are you interested in becoming a Bronze Coach?

The USBC Bronze course is open to anyone who is a current TBA Level 1 Accredited Coach who wants to take their knowledge and skills to the next level.  Bronze is an Intermediate Level, aimed at coaching athletes from beginners up to 170 / 180 average.  It is also a prerequisite to becoming a Silver Level coach.  Bronze coaches have more coaching opportunities and receive a higher rate of pay than Level 1 Coaches (eg Sporting Schools).

All participants will be still required to attend a TBA Approved coaching session (2 – 3 hours) under observation of an authorised Silver Level Coach to finalise this task before finishing this course. Opportunities will be arranged by TBA in your own State once we are able to bowl more freely. No additional cost to participants.
  • Participants will not become Bronze Coaches until all requirements (as listed on the TBA website) are completed and submitted to TBA.

Not Yet a Level 1 Coach?

No problem – as the Level 1 course is all online, you will be able to register for this and get started, prior to attending the Bronze course.
