
BowlAbilities is TBA’s newest participation program, joining Bowl Patrol and Sporting Schools in growing participation in the sport of tenpin bowling.
BowlAbilities is a modified, learn to bowl program for older teens and adults with a disability that provides the following benefits
LEARN the fundamental skills of tenpin bowling
IMPROVE coordination, balance and physical activity levels
INCLUSIVE program designed specifically for older teens and adults with a disability
FUN to be had with modified scoring system promoting skill development, sense of achievement and self-confidence
SOCIAL opportunity to meet new like-minded friends
SAFE -delivered by trained facilitators using carpets on the lanes to get bowlers closer to the pins
INTRODUCTION to the many pathways and opportunities that the sport offers
