Tenpin Bowling Australia (TBA) would like to issue the following information regarding the Coronavirus and the impact on the sport. This web page will be continually updated as new information is received.
We do not take this issue lightly and will continue to act in accordance with the guidelines from the World Health Organisation and the Australian Federal Government.
Due to the rapidly evolving nature of the situation, we would like to thank everyone for their understanding and patience as we work through this difficult period. Although disappointing, we must ensure the health and wellbeing of bowlers, coaches, staff and venues are maintained.
Decisions related to all aspects of the sport are being discussed and monitored.
All future updates will be provided on this web page as new information is received.

Due to the federal government enforcement of indoor sporting venues to be closed, all accredited events are postponed/cancelled until further advice is provided by the government.
Indoor sporting venues have now been directed not to operate from midday 23rd March 2020. As a result of these restrictions, all league bowling will be postponed indefinitely. It is possible that these measures may last up to six months however reviews will be undertaken on a regular basis and we will continue to update you as more information comes to hand.
Bowling centre’s that do not adhere to these restrictions risk substantial fines for continuing to operate. We encourage you to reach out to your bowling centre with any specific questions related to your league bowling.
After considering advice from the federal government and health authorities, TBA has made the difficult decision that no Australian teams will be competing in international competitions in 2020. Read more here

- avoiding contact with anyone who has symptoms such as fever, a cough, sore throat, fatigue, and shortness of breath
- staying home if you are unwell.
You should also try and stay at least 1.5 metres away from people coughing or sneezing.
