
Jason Belmonte finished runners-up at the PBA World Championship this morning following another nail-biter at the PBA World Series of Bowling XIV.
Belmonte completed a huge comeback to make the stepladder finals as the fourth seed after an 11-1 matchplay record.
Entering the stepladder finals as the fourth seed, Belmonte made a run in true fashion to book a title match against number one seed EJ Tackett.

- Match 2: Jason Belmonte def. Jakob Butturff, 223-204
- Match 3: Jason Belmonte def. Anthony Simonsen, 236-204
- Championship: EJ Tackett def. Jason Belmonte, 254-247
