ADTI Constitutional Review & Call for Expressions of Interest

By Tenpin Bowling Australia
October 30, 2023

The Australian Disabilities Tenpin Incorporated (ADTI) is embarking on an important review of its Constitution.

As part of this process, the ADTI invites passionate individuals to be a part of a dedicated sub-committee. This committee will play a pivotal role in ensuring the ADTI Constitution is both relevant to their current goals and compliant with relevant laws and standards.

About ADTI

ADTI is a not-for-profit organisation championing tenpin bowling for individuals with disabilities throughout Australia. The ADTI flagship event, run in collaboration with Tenpin Bowling Australia, is the annual National Disability Tenpin Bowling Championship, which is a testament to their commitment. In 2023, this event drew over 350 bowlers, positioning it as one of Australia’s largest sporting events for persons with disabilities.

Why the Review?

As ADTI continues to grow and shape the landscape of disability sports in Australia, it’s imperative the Constitution:

  1. Reflects evolving objectives and ambitions.
  2. Adheres to the requirements of the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012 (Vic) and the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC).
  3. Aligns with Tenpin Bowling Australia (TBA) guidelines and other national sports organisations dedicated to athletes with disabilities.
