
TBA FINANCE MANAGER
The role is responsible for managing the financials of TBA Limited and TBA High Performance Pty Ltd. It will oversee an Account Officer role and ensure the appropriate reporting and analysis is in place for both organisations. The role reports to the CEO and the Financial Audit and Risk Committee of the Board. Risk management for both organisations.
FINANCE
Includes oversight and management of all financial aspects to TBA and TBA High Performance Pty Ltd
- Oversee and ensure the following is delivered and in place for TBA and TBA High Performance Pty Ltd:
- Creation of the annual budgets
- Preparation of the annual Financial Statements
- Oversight of the external audit process
- Preparation of Board and management updates and reports eg. end of month
- Asset registry maintenance
- Support the CEO in the development of the organisation’s strategic and operational plans and budgets, including the delivery of high level reports against performance targets.
- Analyse actual and forecast data to ensure the businesses are prepared and agile to external and internal influences
- Management of personnel and responsibility to ensure delivery of the following:
- Month end journals and reconciliations.
- Maintenance of the general ledger
- Preparing debtor reports and assisting with collections of outstanding receivables.
- Payroll and associated requirements e.g. PAYG, FBT, Superannuation
- Cashflow management
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Ensure all government grant acquittals and reporting is accurate and complete
- Lead financial support to the CEO for driving strategic outcomes, management of the P&L / forecasting and ensuring the and other team members in securing new revenue and grant income
RISK MANAGEMENT
Includes the leadership of the risk function inclusive of insurance, risk management framework and compliance
- Oversee the effective management of risk and reporting under the guidance of the CEO and Financial Audit and Risk Committee
- Drive a culture that understands and respects the importance of risk and delivers appropriate actions to mitigate and minimise exposure of the organisation
- Manage and monitor the annual process of insurance renewal and request for price process in addition to Workcover requirements
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
Includes the management of all business contract inclusive of internal inter-company contracts
- Manage the contract registry and ensure appropriate schedules and terms are delivered and achieved
- Advise colleagues negotiating contracts on financial aspects within contracts eg. schedules of payments, cost management in delivering outcomes
KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Essential
- CA/CPA membership
- Analytical and Process skills
- Experience in accounting, cash management, payroll and budgeting
- Financial background and business commercial skills
- Attention to detail
- Leadership skills with experience in managing people and financial matters within an organisation
- High emotional intelligence
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable
- Advanced financial management and commercial acumen
Qualifications
- Degree in Commerce, Accounting or related area
- CPA membership
This role is part time – minimum 0.8. This role will be based out of the Tenpin Bowling Australia South Melbourne head office and includes parking, The role can be a combination of an office based / work from home hybrid model, there is also additional flexibility in the hours of work to set the start and finish time for nominated workdays best suited to the workload and candidates’ preferences.
