2022 Tenpin World Cup Recap – 20 November 2022

Day Nine of Tenpin World Cup competition took the Top 32 Men and turned them into the Top 8, the Top 16 Women into the Top 8 Women at the AGL National High-Performance Centre on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

The Men opened the competition this morning with the Top 32 Players in two groups below.

It was in this group we had another Perfect Game at 300 with the Philippines Merwin Tan producing perfection for the game against eventual winner American Prather.

After several ties across the groups – the final results turned 32 into 16, ready to battle it out for the evening session:

In some tight results, that went to three games the created a Top 8:

The result of these matches will see the following match up in the next phase of the Men’s Individual Quarter Finals.

The Women competed to move from the Top 16 to Top 8 for the Quarter Finals.
