2022 TBA sports registration has once again opened on the 1st of November with the annual online early bird period kicking off with discounted rates and plenty of prizes on offer.

Like previous years, the early bird period will run from the 1st of November to 31st December 2021 and allows bowlers who bowl in a traditional membership centre to register for 2022 at a discounted rate.

“The early bird window is a great opportunity to save approximately 10% on your 2022 registrations and go in the running to win some fantastic prizes” explained TBA Events and Membership Manager, Kortnee Morcus.

Understanding that 2021 has been another difficult year for those in New South Wales and Victoria, the early bird window will be available for bowlers in these states until the 31st of January 2022. All members who register within the early bird window associated with their state or territory will go in the draw to win some exciting prizes.

This year’s Grand Prize is a $1000 gift card that will be awarded to one lucky winner in the country to be used for anything they wish! The ever-popular 10 weeks of free league bowling also returns in a revamped way. Instead of one or two 10 weeks of free league on offer for the whole country, 2022 will see eight of these prizes up for grabs, one for each state and territory. Finally, eight TBA prize packs will be on offer once again for each state and territory.

The revenue generated from sports registration contributes to the administration of the sport including insurance, lane measuring and administrative support services.  One component of sports registration fees associated with participation in either league or tournament play is the various awards provided by TBA.

For the first time since 2020, sports registration prices will increase next year. 2022 will see online registrations raise $4 for adults and juniors, also in-centre registrations have risen $4 for both adults and juniors.

“Tenpin Bowling registration prices remain one of, if not the lowest priced in the sports sector and we are proud of the benefits available to the members” explained Kortnee Morcus.

Due to popular demand, the personalised membership card will return in 2022. New in 2022, all those who register next year will be sent a personalised membership pack containing an information wallet and a high-quality membership card directly to their door.

“Following visits to centres and consultation with stakeholders that included current members, it was made clear to me early on, that people missed having a personalised membership card” explained Chief Operating Officer Damien Smith. “On one side of the card you will have your TBA specific information, and on the back is a reminder of the many benefits available to you as a member. On top of that, we will send the card directly to your address”.

Also new in 2022, members will have access to a 10% discount with our official apparel partner TWP on custom-designed apparel.  In addition to the 10% discount, members will have the option to purchase a TBA embroidered hand towel with the TWP custom orders at a discounted price. All TBA membership benefits can be viewed here.

The 2022 Early Bird Registration period is now open and will close on the 31st of December 2021 with those in NSW and Victoria having access to the window until the 31st of January 2022.

Please note – Early bird specials and prizes are only open and available to members who bowl in traditional membership centres that accept online payments.  Members in lane levy centres are not eligible for the Early Bird registration prices or prizes.

Register in the early bird window to access the discounted prices, put your name in the ring for some great prizes and support your sport in 2022!
