In 2018, TBA created the Bowl Patrol Awards to highlight the contributions and recognise the outstanding efforts of individuals and registered centres in growing and developing the sport through Australia’s only national junior tenpin bowling program – Bowl Patrol.

Below are the 2018 winners!

2018 Bowl Patrol – Centre of the Year
Caboolture Bowl, QLD

Caboolture have done an excellent job of recruiting juniors in their centre this year and it has all started with Bowl Patrol.  This is evident by the number of people they have registered as they walk in the door when bowling socially.  They have kept consistent numbers of around ten or more each term this year, something that makes them a level above the rest.  The team at Caboolture have also made it their mission to retain the kids that have participated in Bowl Patrol putting them in leagues according to their ability.  The future of bowling in Caboolture is very exciting.

Finalists; NSW Bowlarama Wetherill Park, WA ZONE BOWLING Rockingham, SA ZONE BOWLING Cross Roads, TAS ZONE BOWLING Moonah, ACT ZONE BOWLING Tuggeranong, VIC Oz Tenpin Epping

2018 Bowl Patrol – Lane Ranger of the Year
Niki Smart – Go Bowling – Ashmore, QLD

Niki has done an incredible job of not only delivering the program, but also helping to promote it.  She has done the hard yards with 1000’s upon 1000’s of letterbox drops of flyers promoting the program and is an excellent ambassador for what a Lane Ranger should be doing!  She has taken it upon herself to make her sessions extra enjoyable for the kids that are in the program.
