Monday, July 09, 2018

Australia’s only national junior tenpin bowling program, Bowl Patrol, is coming to bowling centres across Australia in Term 3.

This exciting new program is sport’s newest junior program designed specifically for primary school children and parents, and kids just can’t get enough of it rating the program 4.5 out of 5.

Bowl Patrol programs are being held in over 25 locations which now includes Western Australia and the ACT and parents or grandparents are encouraged to register their children via www.bowlpatrol.com.au.

The 8-week program, which runs in term time, teaches children the fundamental skills of the sport as well as improving co-ordination and balance in a fast, fun and active setting.

Tenpin Bowling Australia (TBA) CEO Cara Honeychurch said Term 3 Bowl Patrol programs are open for registrations and it is an ideal program for boys or girls of all abilities where they can have fun and learn the basic skills of the sport.

“Bowl Patrol has been developed to teach children about the sport as well having a focus on skill development, a sense of achievement, socialization and teamwork.”

“The program caters for children of all abilities by changing the length of the lanes, shortening the length of a game and providing opportunities each week for children to move a more challenging level,” Honeychurch said.

“But most importantly children get to have plenty of fun in a safe environment with the program delivered by trained facilitators to ensure they can knock down as many pins as they can.”
