TBA Announces Australian Asian Schools Teams & Junior Development Camp Invitees

Thursday, June 08, 2017

The Australian Asian Schools teams will be aiming for medals at November’s Asian Schools Championships.

With selections taking place following this year’s tournaments and national ranked events, 12 bowlers will represent Australia at the 18th Championships in Kuching, Malaysia from the 11th to 17th November, 2017.

The selected teams will also take part in the newly developed 4 day, National Junior Development Camp in July at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra where the team will begin their preparations in state of the art facilities.

Today’s announcement of the Asian Schools teams also coincides with the naming of the junior athletes from across Australia who will join the Asian Schools teams at the camp to assist their own development, both on and off the lanes.
