Coaching Accreditation
Accredited coaches are required to register with TBA annually. The registration process helps TBA keep a record of which coaches are still active and updating their knowledge and skills to keep abreast of the latest developments in the sport.
This web-based database is updated monthly on the web. Coaches who register are added to the database weekly by the National office.
If your coach is not on this list their registration may be being processed. Bowlers are welcome to contact the National office or the National Coaching Manager for the latest list.

Get to know the TBA Coach Advisory Committee
Jason Taafe
As the youngest member of the coaching advisory committee I have had a short yet diverse career within the tenpin bowling industry. I am employed within the industry, and continually strive to increase my knowledge and experience as a coach, a ball driller, lane maintenance technician and a tenpin customer service officer. I have been bowling competively for over 10 years, and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience of competing in leagues and participating in competitions throughout my home state of Victorian and interstate.
I passed my level one coaching accreditation when I was 16 and began working within the Tenpin Bowling industry from that point forward. I completed my level 2 coaching accreditation at the age of 19 and became the youngest level 2 coach in Australia.
Since obtained my Level 2 Accreditation, I have coached both Victorian and Western Australian presidents shield teams and only recently been given the role of State Coaching Coordinator for the state of Victoria. I have a strong passion for bowling in this country and believe the coaching advisory committee are excelling the sport in the right direction.
The Coaching Syllabi and associated support material is currently under review by TBA and the Australian Sports Commission, as such these documents are not available at this time. It is expected that the review will be complete March 2009. The new documents will be loaded onto the site on completion of the review.
