Tasmanian Men win their second Rachuig Title
In what was an outstanding team effort, the Tasmanian Mens team have won the 2009 Walter Rachuig Tournament.
The team led all of the way through the last 2 days of the competition and sealed the victory with a 6 - 1 victory over Victoria in the last game. Tasmania finished with 75 points to win by 5.5 points from Queensland with Victoria a further 1 point behind in 3rd place.
Congratulations also to Joel Reeve (208 ave) & Ashley Riley (203 ave) who both made the Allstars Team.
Team members :- Ashley Riley (Captain), Joel Reeve, Garry Crick, Damian Crick, Brad Goss, Chris Commane & Aaron Franklin. Coach - Brett Riley, Manager - Matt Dickson.
The womens team also put in a great performance to finish 6th which resulted in Tasmania finishing 3rd in the Combined Team Points.
