National Event Rules

The rules and regulations listed below apply for the conduct and control of all interstate team events associated with all 4 TBA National Championships.  In the event of any State/Territory/Zone rule conflicting with these rules, the rules listed below will take precedence.

Walter Rachuig Trophy Tournament

The Walter Rachuig Trophy was established in December of 1963, in recognition of the work performed by Walter A Rachuig, a Director of the American Bowling Congress, in guiding the establishment of the Australian National Sporting Organization during the period of February 11, 1962 through until July of 1963.

National Restricted Team Challenge

The National Restricted Teams Challenge was established by Tenpin Bowling Australia Limited in 2007 with the first competition in 2008.

The Presidentís Junior Interstate Shield Tournament was established by the National Tenpin Bowling Organization in May of 1974.

Australian Disability Championships State Team Challenge

The TBA Australian Disability Championships State Team Challenge was established by the TBA Disabilities Committee in response to the wishes of bowlers with disabilities and their carers following requests for increased options and for furthering their bowling careers.
