An update with the results from yesterday.
The girls had their final block for teams last night finishing 7th. James advised that it was extremely unfortunate that the first game in the second block (they finished with a 612) was so bad. The girls had to play under difficult conditions with the game taking almost two hours as the lane broke down that bad the mechanic was manually setting the pins each time. They fought back with the next block being a 742 and the last an 814 but it was not enough to get them back into the medal contention. We have of course got Ben Copeland sitting 4th in the All Events just out of the medals but averaging a great 208.22 and so going through to the masters. The first block of 8 games will be played this morning. We also have Kerry Anne in 10th and Bianca in 15th so they will contend the masters with their first block this afternoon.
